Sigur Rós - Staralfur
Another video for you. Not only was this song featured heavily in The Life Aquatic, which is what Brad and I watched on our first date, New Years Day 2005, but this is the song that I walked down the aisle to. Love it.
I just wanted to say Happy Valentine's Day to my fantastic husband Brad. I am so lucky to have him, he is my best friend ever, and I love being with him. We have always said we would both love to work from home so we could spend even more time together, somehow we just never get sick of each other! He is the best father I could ever ask for for Kennedy and I can't wait to someday add to our family (someday, not anytime soon). He is working so hard at school, and I can't wait to see that pay off someday with an awesome job that he loves (or at least doesn't hate, lol).
Brad, you and Kennedy are my sunshine. I love you!

Four years
New Years eve/day was Brad and mine's four year anniversary of the date we got together. My mother has already informed me that now I have to count my wedding date as my anniversary. No thanks! I like having our anniversary on a holiday, although we did get married on National Coming Out Day!
We were watching an episode of X-Files yesterday where Skinner and his wife almost got divorced and she said that they had become only roommates to each other. I told Brad that even if we ever fell out of love that I wanted to live with him forever because he is the best roommate ever! He is my best friend. I am so thankful that he puts up with my laziness. There is nothing that we love more than to spend the day in bed watching movies. He has a sweet tooth and he asks me to make ice cream at ten o'clock at night (although the frozen yogurt last night was my idea). He is such a talented artist and musician. I think his song lyrics are amazing and his comics are so witty. I hope that he finds a path to do what he loves and get paid for it
Brad, I love you so much!

the best
Have I ever told you that I am very lazy? If left to my own devices, I would go home everyday and sit in front of the computer or tv all night, barely getting up to eat something. Anytime that I do exercise or go out during the week, I feel much better than if I would have sat at home; but the next time I have the choice to stay home, I never remember that. I have called out of work before, just so I could sleep in.
So my live-in boyfriend, Brad*, bears the brunt of this. I wait until he has gotten up, and then I am suddenly ready for that refill; he makes me wake up in the morning, he does the dishes (i cook); he cleans the cat box (i will gag); he convinces me to go on our semi-nightly walk; he pretty much does anything for me that would require me to get off my ass. I count my lucky stars for this, and I wonder if he will ever get sick of it.
